until now it didn’t really make much sense to me. i just thought it was a similar thing to RSS with a little bit of a different format. and proposed as an IETF standard.
but then i read the slide notes from the XML2004 talk about it. man, this looks exciting. it makes so much sense now. seems very intuitive. i, actually, have some ideas of how i might use this in the near future.
